Abstract
This article presents a multimodal teaching application implemented in a university French literature course, designed to foster interlinguistic, intercultural, and collaborative learning among national and international students. The study analyzes the representation of the contemporary hero in Je viens d'Alep. Itinéraire d'un réfugié ordinaire by Joude Jassouma (2017), identifying the structure of the Monomyth. Through this cooperative activity, which utilizes mediation skills (Supplementary Volume of CEFR, 2020), students become both independent actors in their own learning and intercultural mediators with other interlocutors.
