Aims and scope
The mission of the scientific journal "Management of Organizations: Systematic Research" is to publish the latest theoretical and empirical research in management, thus contributing to the development of contemporary management theory and practice.
The journal was founded by Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) and has been in regular circulation since 1995. The journal is embedded in the spirit of VMU as a comprehensive university of liberal arts. Thus, it encourages the interdisciplinary connections of management research, including but not limited to other social sciences and humanities.
"Management of Organizations: Systematic Research" invites the submission of papers relying on all empirical methods covering the entire range of quantitative and qualitative approaches. It encourages an innovative integration of diverse research methods leading to novel contributions to management thought and practice. The presented papers can be aimed at answering the research questions inspired by both the latest theory developments and advanced practices of modern organisations, ranging from business to the public sector.
The journal covers a wide range of subjects: methodology of management, analysis of organizational concepts, interaction of organization and microeconomic environment, theory and practice of entrepreneurship, organizational design, human resource management, methodology of administration, marketing management, strategic management, finance management, production management, tendencies of management development, theories of international business and its organization, and business globalization.
