Publication history
Polski Rocznik Muzykologiczny (Polish Musicological Yearbook) was founded by Adolf Chybiński in 1935. Two volumes were published before the Second World War, in 1935 and 1936. Publication resumed in 2004 with Volume 3, issued by the Musicological Section of the Polish Composers’ Union, and has continued regularly since then.
Volumes from 2011 (Vol. 9) onwards are available online in open access under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-SA 4.0).
Since 2016 (Vol. 14), the printed edition has been published and distributed by PWM Edition (Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne).
