Aims and scope

The Journal of Automation, Mobile Robotics and Intelligent Systems (JAMRIS) (ISSN 1897-8649 print / ISSN 2080-2145 online) is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing original scientific research in English on the theory, methods, design and applications of intelligent systems in science and engineering.

The journal provides a forum for high-quality studies addressing analytical, computational, experimental and application-oriented aspects of intelligent and autonomous technologies.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Automation,
  • Systems and Control;
  • Autonomous Systems;
  • Mobile Robotics;
  • Multi-agent Systems;
  • Decision-Making and Decision Support;
  • Mechatronics;
  • Data Science;
  • New Computing Paradigms.

JAMRIS welcomes original research articles that offer clear scientific contribution and demonstrate relevance to the development, integration or application of intelligent systems.

JAMRIS is an open access quarterly published four times per year, online and in print. All content is made immediately and freely available to readers.

The journal operates a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts are considered for publication after external peer review and formal editorial acceptance.

For articles covered by the current publication policy, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 200 EUR including VAT applies after acceptance. The APC supports publication, online hosting and long-term archiving. There are no submission fees or additional publication charges.
