The Impact of Changes in Labor Law on Human Resources Management in Enterprises in the Lublin Voivodeship

Abstract

Subject and purpose of work

This article presents the results of the authors’ own research on the impact of these changes on human resources management in enterprises in the Lublin Voivodeship.

Materials and methods

The research method used was a survey addressed to 30 representatives of human resources departments of enterprises from the Lublin Voivodeship, presented as a Survey on human resources management practices in the face of legal changes in Lublin companies.

Results

The research results indicate difficulties in adapting enterprises to changes in labor law, especially small entities, the need for training, the need for greater flexibility in human resources management and the development of work-life balance policies in companies.

Conclusions

The research contributed to increasing knowledge about the impact of labor law regulations on human resources management in enterprises in the Lublin Voivodeship. Conclusions were formulated to support the effective implementation of changes that can contribute to increasing the competitive advantage of enterprises in the labor market.
