Pancreatoduodenal Neuroendocrine Tumor as an early manifestation of suspected MEN 1 Syndrome: The value of timely and multidimensional diagnosis – A case study
Abstract
The [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-TATE PET/CT scan identified pancreatic and duodenal neuroendocrine tumors in a 45-year-old patient, leading to the suspected diagnosis of MEN 1 syndrome. Timely use of accurate and targeted imaging techniques, particularly [68Ga] Ga-DOTA-TATE PET/CT, ensured early diagnosis and allowed curative surgical treatment, which was crucial for the patient’s subsequent prognosis.
