“Bulletin of the Main Medical Library” has been published by the Main Medical Library since 1952. Its initiator and originator was Professor Stanislaw Konopka - the founder and first Director of the Library. The periodical was published until 2002. Initially, the bulletin was a list of acquisitions of the Main Medical Library, informing readers, mainly doctors, about the current literature in the field of medicine and related sciences.

In 2016, after a fourteen-year hiatus, “Bulletin” was resumed, with a changed layout and a new format. The journal is published twice a year in a digital format. The purpose of the “Bulletin” is to provide up-to-date information on the latest developments in the field of medicine and related sciences:

Publications include empirical research results, case studies and innovative approaches to practice, as well as review articles - analyses of current trends and topics in the medical literature that will help readers understand the context and significance of new developments in their fields.
