Innovations in Learning: A SUNY-Focused Teaching Journal serves as a platform for faculty across the State University of New York (SUNY) system to collaboratively share and disseminate best practices in teaching. In an era marked by rapid advancements in educational methodologies, technology integration, and evolving student needs, this journal aims to bridge the knowledge gap among educators and foster a community dedicated to pedagogical excellence. Currently no such unifying platform exists to share scholarly work on teaching. Often instructors publish in discipline specific journals that are siloed in one profession, reducing the chance for collaboration and knowledge sharing within the SUNY system.

The mission of the journal is as follows: Innovations in Learning is dedicated to advancing teaching excellence within the State University of New York (SUNY) system by providing a dynamic platform for educators to share, collaborate, and innovate.
