Aims and scope
Notitia – Journal for Economic, Business and Social Issues (ISSN 1849-9066) is an international scientific e-journal that provides a platform for research and professional discussions in the fields of economics, business economics, and social development. Originally launched in 2015 under the title Notitia – Journal for Sustainable Development, it was renamed in 2019 to reflect its broadened scope.
The journal publishes scientific and professional papers that contribute to the expansion and advancement of knowledge, encourage discussions, and address contemporary issues from theoretical, policy, and practical perspectives. It embraces an interdisciplinary approach, welcoming contributions that explore the interplay between economics, business, and social sciences. The target readership includes researchers, academics, professionals, and policymakers interested in sustainable economic and social development.
Submitted papers must align with the Instructions to Authors and undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. The International Advisory Board oversees the journal's strategic direction, while the Editorial Board is responsible for implementation. The journal adheres to the highest ethical standards, following the Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Papers are published in Croatian and English. The journal is published annually and no publication fees are charged to authors.
Research areas include, but are not limited to, economics, social sciences, project management, sociology, political science, public health, biomedicine, textile technology, transport technology, shipbuilding, and interdisciplinary studies in humanities and natural sciences.
