Reviewers are required to maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and must not share them with third parties without the consent of the editorial office. The review process must be conducted objectively, impartially, and based solely on academic and scientific criteria. Reviewers are obliged to declare any conflict of interest and, if such a conflict exists, to decline the review. Reviewers must indicate whether the manuscript is an original scientific article or a review paper. Moreover, they must answer (by selecting “yes” or “no”) the questions included in the review form. In addition, a quality percentage (0–100%) must be selected in the online system. The final decision may range from rejected, through minor or major revision, to accepted.

The evaluation of manuscripts focuses on the originality of the research, its scientific contribution to the relevant field, methodological soundness, and the adequacy of the data and sources used. An important part of the assessment is also the clarity and logical consistency of the argumentation, as well as the linguistic and stylistic quality of the text. Reviewers should point out missing relevant citations and, in cases of detected plagiarism or other ethical issues, immediately report them to the editorial office. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, professional, and respectful feedback without personal comments directed at the authors. Each review must be sufficiently justified and include a clear recommendation regarding acceptance, rejection, or the need for revision, including major revision if necessary. Reviewers should adhere to the deadlines set for the review process and inform the editorial office in advance of any delays. They are required to respect editorial decisions and communicate exclusively through the journal’s editorial system. Reviewers should also highlight potential scientific inaccuracies and consider the current state of knowledge in the field.
