Central European Forestry Journal

The journal focuses on forestry issues relevant to Europe, particularly the Central European region. It publishes original research articles and review papers covering both basic and applied research.

The scope of the journal includes silviculture, forest protection, forest management, forest monitoring, and forest ecology, including production ecology and bioclimatology. It also covers forestry economics, forest harvesting technologies, forest engineering and machinery, dendrology, forest genetics, hunting, forest entomology, the use of trees in landscaping, and the relationships between forestry and the wood-processing industry, among other related topics.

The Central European Forestry Journal (abbreviation: Cent. Eur. For. J.) publishes original scientific research in forestry and related fields. It is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal jointly published by the National Forest Centre in Zvolen, Slovakia, and the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic. The journal collaborates with the publisher Paradigm under a journal publishing agreement. The articles in the journal are published exclusively in English. The journal accepts only two types of articles: original scientific papers and review papers. The journal is included in many prestigious citation databases, including Scopus and WoS (Web of Science).
