Aims and scope
EU Agrarian Law is a peer-reviewed, fully open access journal that publishes original research articles, reviews, case notes, and scholarly discussions on a broad range of topics in agrarian and rural law. The journal covers agricultural law, land law, environmental law, food law, rural development, natural resources law, agricultural policy, and European Union law affecting agriculture and rural areas, as well as related interdisciplinary perspectives.
Our mission is to contribute to the development of agrarian legal scholarship and to promote legal solutions that support sustainable agriculture, responsible land management, environmental protection, food security, and the balanced development of rural communities. Particular attention is devoted to the legal challenges arising from the evolution of the Common Agricultural Policy, climate change, technological innovation, and the transformation of agricultural and food systems within the European and global context.
We are confident that EU Agrarian Law serves as an important forum for the exchange of ideas among researchers, policymakers, legal practitioners, and other stakeholders concerned with agricultural and rural affairs. The journal seeks to stimulate scientific debate and provide valuable insights relevant to both legal theory and practice.
