Acta academica karviniensia

Acta Academica Karviniensia is a peer-reviewed scientific journal from the Silesian University in Opava, specifically the School of Business Administration in Karvina. This journal focuses on publishing articles related to economics, business, management, and information management. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind review process, conducted by at least two independent experts in the pertinent field. The journal accepts papers in English and has transitioned to a biannual publication schedule starting in 2020.

The journal aims to have an international focus. The editorial board is mostly composed of international experts. The journal provides a platform to share papers for scientists, academics and doctoral students from around the world. The aim of the journal is to promote exchange in scientific knowledge by publishing scientific articles in economic areas: business and economics, management and administration, business management, business development, marketing, digitalization, innovation, organization, public administration, information management, social system, practically and/or theoretically oriented.

Acta academica karviniensia upholds strict intellectual property rights principles, actively discouraging all forms of plagiarism, including deliberate, inadvertent, and self-plagiarism. The editor reserves the right to reject any submission that exhibits signs of plagiarism or breaches other fundamental publication ethics principles. Authorship must be accurately represented, restricted to individuals who have significantly contributed to the study's conception, design, execution, or analysis. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all legitimate co-authors are included in the submission, that they have approved the final manuscript, and consented to its publication submission.
