The “Flipped Classroom” In Primary Education for the Development of Digital Competence: Pros and Cons

Abstract

The Flipped Classroom model is a didactic method that has gained popularity in recent years due to its potential to improve students’ learning experiences. This study investigates the impact of flipped classroom pedagogy on digital competence in primary education. The study analysed how the flipped classroom model improves students’ digital literacy. The results of the study highlighted the positive impact of the flipped classroom model on the formation of digital competence in primary education, as well as the related pros and cons. The results of the study highlighted that flipped classrooms promote active learning, collaboration, and engagement, improve digital competences; by implementing flipped classrooms in primary education, students with essential digital literacy are prepared.
