Supraventricular causes
  • Atrial fibrillation

  • Atrial flutter

  • Atrial tachycardia

  • Atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia

  • Atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia

Permanent form of junctional
  • Persistent junctional reciprocating tachycardia

Ventricular causes
  • Premature ventricular complexes (PVC)

  • Right ventricular outflow tract ventricular tachycardia

  • Idiopathic left ventricular tachycardia

  • Bundle-branch reentry ventricular tachycardia

  • Ventricular pacing at high rates

Extracardiac causes
  • Thyrotoxicosis

  • Glucagonoma
