Aims and scope
The Romanian Journal of Cardiology is the official quarterly publication of the Romanian Society of Cardiology. It is an Open Access Journal with no submission fees, allowing free access and use of full-text articles. Statements and opinions are those of the authors alone.
The Romanian Journal of Cardiology (RJC) publishes peer-reviewed original research, reviews, editorials, case reports and correspondence (letters to the editor) in all areas of cardiovascular medicine (clinical cardiology, cardiovascular imaging, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac surgery, preventive cardiology, translational/experimental cardiovascular science). RJC publishes primarily original research and high-quality reviews, but educational materials are also accepted. RJC aims to serve both the Romanian cardiology community and international readers, and to meet the standards required by Index Medicus for indexing.
Manuscripts should be of high academic quality, original, clinically or scientifically relevant, and should follow ethical standards for biomedical publications (e.g., those of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors – ICMJE). The Editors reserve the right to return without reviewing manuscripts that are outside scope, insufficiently rigorous, or poorly written.
