Abstract
The paper analyses the presence of future expressions (‘be going to’, ‘will’, ‘shall’, the Present tense progressive and Present tense simple with future uses) in the English textbooks for levels A1 and A2 recommended by the Romanian Ministry of Education for use in the primary and lower secondary classes in Romania.
