Abstract
The following paper is an analysis of the use of emerging technologies in the context of management of emergency situations. In the era of managing emergency situations at the time of artificial intelligence and the impact of technologies on every aspect of life, the emergency situations organizations are obliged to focus on the use of emerging technologies in improving their activity. As the field is covered with the use of these technologies, the paper focuses on two main aspects: awareness and resilience. After going through the document, one will understand the way emerging technologies are used in order to keep the population informed of the risks in the area they live in and the emergency situations happening in real time. Nevertheless, the paper addresses the way emerging technologies are used in order to ensure reliance in the communities and preparedness in order to mitigate the consequence of emergency situations.
