The Application of Coaching in Education: The Bibliometric Analysis of the Emerging Trend

Abstract

The study aims to assess the trend of coaching application in education using bibliometric analysis. The objectives of the study are to analyze the interaction of coaching and education over a period of time, to research the distribution of this concept and related keywords, using the capabilities of the Scopus database and the VosViewer program. The application of coaching in education is beneficial for achieving the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 “Quality Education” and overall sustainability of the education process. The study analyzes how the annual grow of the publications is related to the events that have taken place during peak years. Most popular journals have been examined. Most cited papers have been researched, and content of each has been examined thoroughly. A Vosviewer Coauthorship visualization mapping for countries has been performed. Then, the co-occurrence has been selected as a method of analysis, and all keywords have been analyzed thoroughly.
