Abstract

This introductory paper summarizes the proceedings of the “Nematodes on the Move” symposium, highlighting the global impacts of plant-parasitic nematodes on agriculture, recent advances in management strategies, and the urgent need for international collaboration, regulatory modernization, and extension networks to support sustainable food production. Key policy recommendations and future research directions are outlined.
