Abstract
This study investigates the integration of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to improve decision-making in sustainable building practices in Indonesia. By incorporating Value Engineering (VE) and Building Life Cycle (BLC), the model aims to guide investors and developers in optimizing green building projects to achieve sustainability and cost prediction. A quantitative approach was employed to analyse indicators from the Green Building Council Indonesia, VE, BLC, and new building cost performance. Data collection was conducted through distributed questionnaires and analysed using quantitative descriptive methods. Respondents were selected through snowball sampling, targeting experts and practitioners in green building concepts in Jakarta. The Content Validity Index (CVI) was used to assess the relevance of instrument items.
