Glioblastoma in a 36-year-old woman – a case report

Abstract

The paper presents the case of a 36-year-old woman diagnosed with G4 glioblastoma. Gliomas are a group of primary neuroepithelial tumors of the central nervous system. They constitute the largest and most diverse group of primary tumors of the central nervous system. The main method of diagnosing gliomas is magnetic resonance imaging. The basis of treatment is tumor resection to the maximum extent safe for the patient, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
