Dentophobia as an Anxiety Phenomenon Among Children and Adult Patients

Abstract
Dentophobia is a panic fear of visiting the dentist and oral procedures which affects both children and adults. The basis for working with a patient suffering from dentophobia is to understand its cause and determine the level of fear, which allows for the selection of appropriate techniques to alleviate dental anxiety.
