Fractional Discrete-Time Compartmental Linear Systems

Abstract

This paper introduces a class of fractional discrete-time compartmental linear systems. The fundamental system properties, including controllability and observability, are analysed. Furthermore, the eigenvalue assignment problem related with this class of systems is addressed. Theoretical considerations are demonstrated through a numerical example.
