1. Purpose of the Review
The primary purpose of peer review is to provide a fair, constructive, and critical assessment of the manuscript, to help authors improve their work, and to assist the editorial board in making publication decisions.
Journal of Mother and Child is double-blind peer reviewed journal.
2. Ethical Guidelines
Confidentiality: All materials should be treated as confidential and not shared or discussed with others.
Objectivity: Reviews should be unbiased and based solely on the content of the manuscript.
Conflict of Interest: Please decline the review if you have a conflict of interest (e.g., recent collaboration with the authors, financial or institutional connections, or any relationship that may affect impartiality).
3. Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers are encouraged to use a score sheet to rate submission. Please assess the manuscript based on the following aspects:
Originality: Does the manuscript offer new insights or a novel approach?
Scientific Rigor: Are the research methods appropriate and properly described?
Validity of Results: Are the findings supported by the data? Are the interpretations sound?
Clarity and Structure: Is the manuscript well-organized and clearly written?
Literature and References: Are relevant studies cited appropriately and sufficiently?
Relevance to the Journal: Is the manuscript within the scope of the journal and of interest to its readership?

Summary of the Manuscript – A brief overview of the paper’s aims and findings.
General Comments – Overall impressions, strengths and weaknesses.
Specific Comments – Line-by-line suggestions, corrections, or questions for the authors.

Accept with minor revisions
Major revisions required (re-review needed)
