Aims and scope
The journal was edited with the title:

The papers published in the Journal are expected to be of complex nature. They should address theoretical, methodological as well as practical issues related to ecological problems.
In this context, the contributions should address the following five thematic domains:
- population ecology
- ecosystems ecology
- landscape ecology
- nature conservation
- human impact
Edited by the Institute of Landscape Ecology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovak Republic.
