Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal focused on publishing high-quality research in civil engineering, environmental engineering, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal was established in 2005 by the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Žilina, Slovakia. Since its foundation, CEE has aimed to support the dissemination of scientific knowledge and international research cooperation in the fields of civil and environmental engineering. Initially published primarily for regional scientific communication, the journal has progressively developed into an internationally oriented scholarly journal publishing articles exclusively in English.
