Universal Design for Learning to integrate Artificial Intelligence and Bologna Principles in Higher Education

Abstract

The Bologna Process principles promote equality and inclusion in Education, regardless of the regional contexts. At the same time, every country has different contexts and resources. Including Artificial Intelligence in education could be considered a tool to reduce those inequalities. On the other hand, using AI promotes more inequalities as it demands access to devices and connectivity. This literature review presents these topics and the ethical considerations needed to foster equality and quality of education.
