The green structure the lead touches is the thalamus. The red structure beneath the thalamus is the subthalamic nucleus. Coordinates for right thalamic ventralis intermedius (Vim), 3.9 mm posterior; 12.8 mm lateral; and 2.2 mm inferior to the midcommissural point. Coordinates for left Vim, 5.7 mm posterior; 13.2 mm lateral; and 3.7 mm inferior to the midcommissural point.
