A Corpus of Keystroke Logging From Children and Adult Writing
Abstract
We present a corpus of keystroke logs of writing sessions from children and adult French writers from which we extracted a set of data related to bursts of writing, their temporal characteristics and their textual function. The corpus includes the raw keystroke logging files (recording of text production by typing). The corpus can be used to further investigate the writing process across different constraints, each related to a specific cognitive process involved in writing (planning, translating and reviewing) for adults and exploring writing development in children in two genres of text (narratives and expository texts).
