InterpNET: A Curated Repository of Sign Language & Interpreting Resources

Open Access
|Mar 2026

Abstract

InterpNET is a curated digital repository of open-source, web-based resources related to sign language and interpretation. The dataset was assembled through a systematic online search and verification process designed to identify, review, and confirm the accessibility and relevance of publicly available materials. InterpNET currently includes over 4,300 unique resources collected from open-source platforms and housed in a secure digital repository. Resources are organized using standardized metadata and curated by theme and usability to support efficient search, filtering, and retrieval. The dataset responds to identified gaps in shared instructional and pedagogical infrastructure in sign language pedagogy and interpreter education (Muroski, 2025; Roberson & Shaw, 2024). InterpNET supports use across education, research, and professional practice and offers a replicable model for digital resource curation in other practice-based fields.
