Ron is chair of Deepness and Lives with Vascular Dementia Deepness is a not for profit that is run for people with dementia by people with dementia.
Co-production has become a buzzword in the realm of service delivery, focusing on the collaborative efforts between service providers, service users and other stakeholders.
This workshop "Coproduction: Myth, Fact, or Aspiration," delves into the framework that underpins coproduction , the workshop probes whether co-production is merely a myth driven by idealistic rhetoric, a proven fact through successful implementations, or an aspirational goal.
Current coproduction models often presume a level playing field between participants, overlooking the practical challenges faced by marginalised communities.
The workshop has been designed to be very interactive and by the end of the workshop participants will have had the opportunity to redefine what coproduction should look like.
