Abstract
The space economy is a rapidly growing domain that integrates scientific exploration with commercial opportunities, significantly shaping global economic activities. This paper explores the multifaceted aspects of the space economy, highlighting key opportunities such as satellite technologies, space tourism, and resource extraction, which collectively contribute to economic growth, technological advancements, and global connectivity. Special emphasis is placed on the benefits for developing countries, including enhanced internet access, capacity building, and sustainable resource utilisation. However, challenges such as legal frameworks, governance, environmental sustainability, and equitable access persist, necessitating collaborative efforts among nations. This study underscores the importance of inclusive policies and strategic reforms to harness the full potential of the space economy, ensuring balanced and sustainable growth across the globe.
