Project for enhancement of Distance Education of the Open University of Sri Lanka with British Overseas Development Assistance - An overview

This paper presents an overview of a project for enhancement of distance education that was implemented at the Open University of Sri Lanka, 1995-1998, with British Overseas Development Assistance. It briefly explains the background to the project and how it was formulated. It then outlines the project components and sets forthe the experiences obtained during project implementation. The paper also attempts to provide a review of outcomes and future possibilities.
