Pentecostal-Charismatic Spirituality and the Shaping of Evangelical Theological Education
By: Jacob Cherian
Abstract
Beginning with a short account of the author’s journey as an Evangelical–Pentecostal educator, the article outlines the global spread of the Pentecostal-Charismatic movement and describes four prominent features of Pentecostal–Charismatic spirituality. Drawing on Lesslie Newbigin and the apostle Paul, the article offers insights for theological educators involved in the spiritual and ministerial formation of missional practitioners in this Spirit-led movement within the evangelical church.
