Abstract
The climate transition is coming under pressure. The reduction in CO₂ emissions is hitting people’s wallets. Moreover, fossil fuels are becoming more expensive due to geopolitical uncertainties, and the competitiveness of domestic industry is suffering as a result of the unequal distribution of the burden in the global fight against climate change. This Zeitgespräch seeks answers to the most pressing questions on climate policy.
