Mehr Arbeit, weniger Jobs? Konsequenzen der KI-Technologieeinführung

Is the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) leading to a rise in workload? And are jobs at risk? Data from the WSI works council survey suggests that AI’s impact – at least in the early stages of implementation – appears to differ from that of other digital technologies. Instead of the increased workload more frequently observed with other technologies, many works council members reported a reduction in workload, and after a two-year observation period, the overall result was a slight increase in jobs.
