Autoritäre Herrschaft und Populismus aus der Perspektive der ökonomischen Ideengeschichte
By: Karen Horn
Abstract
‘Populism’ and ‘authoritarianism’ are modern political science terms that are not found in older economic literature. The econometric methods that allow us to get closer to the roots and effects of these political phenomena are also relatively recent. However, this does not mean that there was nothing comparable in the past. Quite the opposite, the history of economic thought has a lot substance to contribute to this currently pressing issue.
