Abstract
What are the consequences of the geopolitical upheavals for Europe? The continent needs a new security architecture — how should it be financed nationally and at the EU level? How should Europe deal with aggressors and former allies? Where does Germany stand in its Zeitenwende, and how can German defence initiatives be embedded in a broader European strategy? This Zeitgespräch addresses a key question of our time: How the defence of freedom and the safeguarding of peace in Europe can succeed.
