Abstract

Hunger, war and climate change exist in a vicious cycle, and those who will be most affected by the consequences are people living in the Global South. That is why the United Nations sustainable development goals (SGDs) recognise that preventing armed conflict, mitigating climate change and combating hunger and poverty are the most urgent challenges facing the world today.
