Abstract
The article is a presentation of Russian philosopher Ivan Ilyin’s views, which are an attempt to justify opposing evil by force. Ilyin analyzes the possibilities of the penetration of evil into the world and its forms of manifestation, against which he proposes appropriate forms of opposition. At the same time, Ilyin lists the conditions of this opposition, which must be met in order for opposition by force to be justified.
