Development of the Underwater Polygon for the Training of Professional Divers

The major multi-annual project of the Romanian Naval Forces Polygon for the training of professional divers, developed within the Sectorial Research and Development Plan of the Ministry of National Defense, initiated in 2020, was continued in 2021 by the research team of the Diving Center in Constanţa, by configuring the main work modules. The paper presents the technical development of the capabilities and the solutions of location of the main equipments for each of the 4 modules, respectively Module 0 (the surface), Module 1 (5-7 m deep), Module 2 (15-17 m deep), and Module 3 (20 m deep).
