Efficiency of Applying Management Principles in Education
Abstract
Educational management contributes to increasing the performance of school institutions, but also to improving students’ results. The application of management principles significantly influences the quality of the educational process. This paper aims to investigate whether applied management principles influence students’ results.
The literature emphasizes that school institutions that apply structured management achieve better academic performance. Studies also mention the importance of educational leadership as a success factor in increasing students’ academic results.
The methodology of the study uses the quantitative analysis of the students’ results at three successive tests, using statistical analysis to determine the students’ progress, after applying the principles of management. The question underlying this research is: “Does the application of management principles influence educational outcomes?”.
The results obtained in this research indicate that the application of management principles contributes to the increase of educational performance.
The research was carried out at the level of the ninth grade and represents the empirical proof of the application of management principles in a real school context.
