Abstract

Educational management plays a key role in creating an effective and motivating learning environment for students, especially in the current context of accelerated organizational and technological change. This paper analyzes how different dimensions of school management influence students’ perception of educational performance in high school education.

The literature highlights the fact that educational leadership, organizational communication, school climate and availability of resources are determining factors of the quality of the educational process. However, there is a relatively small number of empirical studies that simultaneously analyze the influence of these factors from the perspective of students, using multivariate statistical models.

From a methodological point of view, the research is based on a quantitative approach, using a structured questionnaire applied to students in the ninth and twelfth grades. The research tool measures students’ perceptions of school leadership, communication, educational resources, organizational climate and involvement in school life, as well as perception of educational performance. Data analysis is performed by means of multiple linear regression. The central question of the research is to what extent these dimensions of educational management explain the variation in educational performance perceived by students.

The results obtained indicate that certain factors of educational management have a direct and significant impact on the perceived educational performance, from the perspective of students.

The main contribution of the paper is to provide an empirical perspective on how students perceive the impact of educational management on school performance, using an advanced quantitative analysis model.
