Digital Transformation of HRM Practices in Armenia: Enhancing Organizational Excellence and Employee Retention
Abstract
he rapid transition to digital technologies has significantly reshaped the organizational structures making digital transformations a critical determinant of business success in the field of Human Resource Management. In the Republic of Armenia, enterprises started to integrate cutting-edge technologies to respond to constantly changing labor markets and to eventually improve organizational efficiency. The research explores the comprehensive impact of digital transformation on Human Resource Management practices within the framework of the evolving economic environment of Armenia. Although previous research concentrated more on broad automation processes, this study investigates the deeper interaction among specialized digital platforms and talent retention techniques. The research aims to thoroughly understand how local companies can apply technological solutions to enhance sustainable growth and secure employee commitment and loyalty. Qualitative and comparative analysis methods were used to conduct an in-depth analysis of data extracted from local platforms, namely www.staff.am, HRDrone and www.e-hr.am. Moreover, context-specific case studies from the banking sector of Armenia concentrating on institutions like Ameriabank, ID Bank, ACBA Bank, and Inecobank were included in the study. The research findings highlight the main technological determinants contributing to organizational efficiency and staff engagement techniques. Through the integration of real-world data with conceptual frameworks, the research generates practical implications for Armenian managers to further optimize their human resource strategies. Finally, the paper contributes to the research by developing a strategic roadmap for digital transformation aligning technological capabilities with practical implementations in a transition economy, meanwhile ensuring that digital tools foster long-term organizational success and employee satisfaction.
