Diving Operations in Connection with Parachute Jumps

The article discusses selected issues related to the exposure of special forces operators to hypo- and hyperbaric environments, as well as the expenditure of combat effort during military missions. Combat tasks/missions should be organised within a relevant¹ and comprehensive military system, ensuring their legitimacy, consistency with the objective, efficiency, timeliness, effectiveness, accuracy, cost-effectiveness, etc. [1]. High altitude transfer processes related to diving and other combat processes require compatible, adequate, effective, proportionate and applicable procedures constituting part of the aforementioned system, based on sufficient knowledge of the effects of exposure to reduced and increased pressure, and combat effort [2].
