Relevant Approaches for Adapting Operational Logistical Support to the Challenges of High-Intensity Warfare at the Regional Level

Abstract
The article examines the transformation of operational logistical support required for combat forces engaged in high-intensity regional warfare, highlighting the transition from centralized models to dispersed, resilient, and adaptive structures. The research employs a qualitative approach based on document analysis and a synthesized assessment of the logistical support provided to Ukrainian combat forces in the Pokrovsk operational area (Ukraine). The analysis aims to identify the main vulnerabilities and adaptation mechanisms generated by the dynamics of the contemporary battlefield, drawing lessons for the future. The findings indicate that logistical support is evolving from a support function into a structural element of the multi-domain operational architecture, being profoundly influenced by increased battlefield transparency, the proliferation of precision strike capabilities, and the need to ensure continuity of logistical flows under conditions of high risk and uncertainty. In this context, flexibility, dispersion, and redundancy emerge as essential principles for maintaining operational sustainment capacity at both tactical and joint levels.
