Abstract

The work aims to make a contribution in the vast field of the concept of geopolitical system, applied to the geopolitics of the Danube. The location of the Danube basin within the European Union has made it possible to redefine the regional cooperation of the riparian states on the coordinates of Community policies and instruments. EU strategists for the Danube region highlight the strategic and economic stakes of the Danube, the emphasis being placed on achieving more efficient connections for transport, trade and energy..
