Safety Needs Management for People with Disabilities in Contemporary Cities
Abstract
Adapting city space to the needs of disabled people is an increasingly important area of activities of local government authorities. Well-thought-out architecture of buildings, road construction and adaptation of broadly understood urban transport ensure free use of city life for all users. The aim of this study is to analyze chosen urban planning solutions tailored to the needs of disabled people. Research methods of this paper are problem-oriented theoretical studies, case studies.
