Abstract

A highly simplified method is described concerning the gas chromatography in the vapour-gas-phase of tobacco smoke. This method requires a thermal conductivity detector, and therefore the tobacco smoke must be concentrated. The fundamental simplification consists in the condensation of the tobacco smoke in dry ice in a refrigerator which has been constructed particularly for this purpose. A test chromatogramme is added showing the important components.
